Ingredients

  • (1lb, peeled, devined, and butterflied) NC GREENTAIL SHRIMP 21/25
  • (1 cup) House Autry Seafood Breader
  • (Enough to cover when frying) Vegetable Oil
  • (to taste) Normal Chris Seafood Seasoning

Directions

Instructions

  1. Peel, devein, and butterfly the shrimp, removing the vein as you cut.

  2. Rinse shrimp briefly under cold running water.

  3. Place shrimp in House Autry Seafood Breader and toss until evenly coated.

  4. Heat vegetable oil in a deep skillet or fryer to 350–375°F.

  5. Working in small batches, remove shrimp from the breading, shaking off excess.

  6. Carefully drop shrimp into hot oil and fry for 2–3 minutes, until golden brown and crispy.

  7. Remove shrimp with a slotted spoon and drain on a paper towel–lined plate.

  8. While hot, season lightly with Normal Chris Seafood Seasoning.

  9. Serve warm with Jeffrey’s Seafood Signature Cocktail Sauce
