Easy One-Pan Sweet Thai Chili Shrimp & Sausage
This easy one-pan sweet Thai chili shrimp and sausage recipe features sweet, tender NC shrimp and bold flavor—ready in just 20 minutes.

Ingredients

  • (1 lb) NC GREENTAIL SHRIMP 21/25
  • (1 link) Turkey Kielbasa (sliced into bite-size rounds)
  • (2) Bell peppers (thinly sliced)
  • (1) Yellow onion (thinly sliced)
  • (2) Garlic cloves, minced
  • (2 Tbsp) Olive Oil (divided)
  • (3 Tbsp) Sweet Thai Chili Sauce

Directions

  1. Slice the onion and bell peppers into thin strips.

  2. Mince the garlic and slice the kielbasa into bite-size rounds.

  3. Peel, rinse, and butterfly the shrimp for even cooking.

  4. Heat 1 tbsp olive oil in a large skillet over medium heat.

  5. Add the kielbasa and sauté until lightly browned. Remove and set aside if pan is crowded.

  6. In the same pan, add remaining olive oil if needed. Sauté onions and bell peppers until softened, about 2–4 minutes.

  7. Add garlic and cook for 30 seconds, until fragrant.

  8. Add shrimp and cook 2–3 minutes, turning once, until pink and cooked through.

  9. Return kielbasa to the pan and drizzle with sweet Thai chili sauce. Toss to coat evenly.

  10. Serve immediately, spooned over rice.


Market Tip: For extra heat, add a pinch of crushed red pepper or a splash of sriracha. Great with jasmine rice or cauliflower rice.
